Though there were a few “Almost Rans,” our judges socks did not get knocked off.
Do not dispair, however, as January’s submissions still keep rolling in (even under the guise of December’s Mailbox). This will be corrected by tomorrow afternoon as the editor is still recovering from a ten day residency and the subsequent travel required to get to Whidbey Island and back in one piece.
Reminder: January’s theme is Reader’s Choice! Please continue to submit — we love this contest.
The first few weeks definitely qualify as a “Pardon Our Dust” moment — thanks in advance.
Sorry to be a pain…I sent a submission on January second, was that in the rejected pile of the December contest or in the January contest. Thanks. Melinda Moore
No worries! This falls under the ‘please accept our aplogies’ category. Anyone who submitted in January (even at 12:00) has been carried forward — the goof on my part is in not changing the title of the files, but the times and submissions are still in tact. Thanks for asking.
Indeed, I’ve just made the changes to reflect our current status.
Thanks! It makes knowing where and what to submit easier
Hey Melinda,
I double checked and all the submissions made after January first have been forwarded to the February Judge. Good luck and thanks for your patience.
